In-house designers and crews wanted. In today's crazy world, when do you get the chance to review the way you work, your creative practice, new creative tools and think about what's next?
Andrew has devised a training program to inspire in-house studios to be the centre of creativity. Let's reimagine with Power House, a training program for in-house crews and design candidates to lead the charge, tackle design thinking, be the creative pulse of your organization, big and small, as they should be.
Andrew Ashton (designer, writer, artist, AGDA / AGI member, trouble-maker) has brought together thirty years of making work, teaching, working with countless people, creative thinking methods and observing other creatives – artists, writer, architects to musicians, under the Power House project.
AGDA in partnership with Andrew are seeking in-house teams and designers in your city to join Power House for an in-house creative celebration.
Three half-day workshops, covering writing in practice, ideation process and methods, practice-led investigation and tools, for groups of 6 to 8 only, devised and hosted by Andrew Ashton.
How has Power House been tested?
Andrew pitched Power House to MYOB Agency’s Creative Director, Tim Gill: "I want to create a program that is personal, loaded with ideas and lots of practical tools and insights." "I wanted the team to be armed with ideas that they could action immediately." "I wanted to kick aside the whole lecture model and work together with the teams, and help them shape the practice's new ways of thinking about, delivering and making work". In July 2019 the workshops were rolled out with an incredible, overwhelming result.
“Andrew understood our vision of delivering creative excellence in-house. His ideas around practice-led studios, practical ideation tools and enthusiasm for unrealised creative opportunities inspired the whole team - we're going to make sure he comes back."
Tim Gill, Creative Director MYOB
