Brooklyn designers, Wade and Leta, impress audiences
Leta Sobierajski & Wade Jeffree / Complements, Monday 21 August 2017
On their recent tour of Australia, Wade Jeffree and Leta Sobierajski who live and work together in Brooklyn, New York totally impressed their audiences from Hobart to Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney.
In their talk, "Creative Companionship," Wade and Leta shared their inspiration and elaborated on two principles, Purposeful Eclecticism and Design as Performance, which influence their every creative decision with the goal of keeping their work physically active and delightfully unexpected.
Warrick Sears, AGDA Board Director commented, “hope it opened up some eyes to the future of design where people get paid for their perspective and talent rather than for their ability to simply produce work."
NSW Chair, Mike Tosetto, “Two international speakers who delivered their thoroughly engaging talk around the country - I was totally blown away by the volume and quality of their work."
For those of you who missed the talk, watch it on AGDA TV.
