Mr Lloyd Osborne
Founded in 2006, Osborne Shiwan is an Auckland-based brand agency specialising in strategic thinking and art direction. Creative Directors Lloyd Osborne and Shabnam Shiwan have worked with some of New Zealand’s most influential brands and their work has been recognised internationally within the areas of commerce, arts and culture.
Lloyd has approached the business of design with an intellectual rigour and cultural sensitivity. His specialised expertise in the area of luxury has seen the creation of memorable brands for new luxury labels Karen Walker, Deadly Ponies and Knuefermann. Clients include Galeries Lafayette, Auckland Museum, New Zealand Opera and Marcel Wanders. Lloyd’s work has been recognised in New Zealand’s Best Awards, for which he has also been a judge, and AGDA (Australia), as well as internationally.
Recent accolades include international awards for the Karen Walker brand identity and multiple TDC New York awards for Atamira Dance Company, where his work is exhibited. In 2019, working with the Auckland University of Technology, Lloyd and Shabnam curated TDC64 Auckland, a typographic exhibit travelling to over 50 cities worldwide. Lloyd was recently selected as a judge for New Zealand’s Axis Awards.
