Design Your Death: a Portable R&D Demo Evening
You’re invited to the launch of our research into the future of death and ageing in Australia. We’ll present our report and a series of new, interactive digital prototypes. Get your hands dirty with tools that aim to improve death literacy, enable conversations, and create better relationships with loved ones by creating a better relationship with death.
Pop quiz! Which is more frightening?
2. Talking about it
Chances are you’ve thought about this taboo subject. And that someone close to you has, too. Chances are also pretty high that you haven’t spoken about it with each other.
But when we do talk about it, we learn, and are empowered by the knowledge of the rights and choices that go along with being a consumer in the experience.
The potential impact of this is huge, and change is sorely needed. Government is realising that advanced care directives, post-death paperwork, and other admin can be user-centred. The recently-announced Royal Commission into Aged Care shows the need for research, advocacy and innovation.
On 22 November 2018 we’ll reveal what we've found and what we've built with the help of the more than 200 people we've spoken to over the past year.
By trying out our prototypes, you can help us take the next step towards delivering more human-centred experiences for everyone involved.
