November / Verb 2.0: Advanced brand language workshop — Sydney

WORKSHOP SOLD OUT (please email if you're interested in future Verb workshops)

Following the success of Verb’s brand language courses in February, Rob Self-Pierson returns this November to run a new advanced writing workshop in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Designed to stretch those who enjoyed the foundation course, Verb 2.0 will sharpen your writing skills by developing your inner writer.

Verb 2.0 takes delegates into personal writing, and reveals the power of connecting with your emotions to communicate more powerfully as a brand.

Through short bursts of theory and longer writing assignments, you’ll understand and develop more of the craft skills used by the world’s leading design copywriters. Learn techniques for tackling challenging brand writing briefs, from building a brand’s personality to crafting powerful crisis comms.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll know how to tap into your emotions and use your senses to communicate more effectively.

Verb 2.0 will cover:
Allowing more onto the page by reaching into personal experience
Story 2.0 Empowering your narrative through detail, emotion and economy
Colour Extending your creative range with five advanced writing techniques
Crisis Writing under pressure at a time that can make or break a brand

The message of Verb 2.0 is really to bring emotions into your writing to move your reader. Become a better personal writer to become a better brand writer.
