The books published in the 'Directions' series contain material on one or more projects concerning operations, thinking, and design in the field of visual communication.
The publications no longer just exhibit the finished work of one or more graphic designers, but rather the progress and process of one or more projects.
All the books will follow the same format and have roughly the same number of pages. As far as design and content are concerned, the graphic designer has carte blanche: the result is real examples of how graphics are made today.
The first in the series is about Jannuzzi Smith, a UK-based studio.
