VOTE NOW to help fund Australia's first Contemporary Aboriginal Silo Art project in Streaky Bay.

An artist collective headed by South Australian Typographer & Artist Tristan Kerr has applied to the Fund My Neighbourhood initiative which gives communities the chance to put forward their best ideas to improve their neighbourhood.

The ‘Wilurara’ in Streaky Bay: More than a silo art project! is an artist led initiative advocating for acknowledgement and reconciliation of Indigenous groups on the Eyre Peninsula. The group aims to collaborate with the broader community by initiating an inclusive community engagement strategy. Using creative and artistic making processes - the Streaky Bay Silos will be one of Australia's biggest canvas for a major public artwork with a story to tell and a legacy to leave.

The trail of artwork adorning the Wheat Silos scatterded across the Australian landscape celebrates the rich heritage and stories of Australia and has become the country's biggest outdoor gallery. The ‘Wilurara’ in Streaky Bay project will join the exciting trail that leads from East to West across Australia - being the first Silo project to be in collaboration with innovative South Australian and Aboriginal Artists.
