From collaboration comes inspiration.
From inspiration, motivation.
Introducing the Student Design Awards: a unique partnership between education & industry, to foster excellence in design.
The Student Design Awards have been established in order to foster employment opportunities for students, as an initiative of the Design Institute of Australia in association with the Australian Graphic Design Association.
By partnering education and industry, the aim is to ensure adoption of principles of excellence in design, as a nett contributor to successful achievement in commerce and industry, assisting in development of internationally recognised design ethics which contribute directly to commercial performance at home and in international markets.
The Student Design Awards programme is capable of influencing developmental trends in industry and education, evidenced during seventy-five years of operation in the United Kingdom, under the auspices of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) upon which this scheme is modelled.
A jury panel of experts with strong balance of relevant academic and industry experience assesses student work entered in the competition.
