FAQ

by AGDA Awards 2006 Committee

Canberra, national capital, city of infinite circles - and on the weekend of 28 October 2006, the circles go fluoro!

This weekend represents the achievement of much planning, dedication and hard work. Over 2000 entries have been submitted for these awards. Soon, the summit will be reached.

The Awards celebrations will take place at Australia's Parliament House. Arguably one of the country's most beautifully designed buildings. Opened in 1988, every detail has been expertly created, resulting in an extraordinary design statement. It is fitting that Australia's premier graphic design awards will be announced in this stunning location.

Shaun Micallef, media personality and AGDA raconteur, returns for his third straight Awards performance. He will be our guide through a night of great anticipation and celebration. This truly is an opportunity not to be missed.

Canberra is a meeting place where new possibilities continually evolve. For one weekend in October, Canberra becomes a meeting place for our industry. We invite you to be inspired. We invite you to be admired. We invite you to Canberra.

There are infinite possibilities.

Liam Camilleri
AGDA Awards Chair 2006
