AGDA Poster Annual 2011 Jury Member Stephan Bundi

AGDA is proud to have Swiss designer Stephan Bundi as part of our prestigious judging panel for the 2011 AGDA Poster Annual.

Stephan was born in 1950 in Trun (Grisons), lives and works in Boll near Berne. After graduating in graphic design in Switzerland and studying book design and illustration at the State Academy of Art and Design in Stuttgart, he built up a successful design practice.

As a designer and art director for film producers, concert promoters, museums, theatres and publishers, as well as in the fields of consumer and investment goods and PR advertising, he combines unconventional ideas with practical Swiss tradition. He also teaches and is a lecturer and expert in visual interpretation at art and design universities in Switzerland and abroad. In 2008 he was appointed Guest Professor at the Arts Institute Nanjing Design College, China. He also sits on international juries and gives lectures.

His works are represented and documented in numerous publications around the world.

Stephan Bundi is a member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI) and president of AGI-Switzerland.

About the 2011 AGDA Poster Annual
The theme for the 2011 AGDA Poster Annual is "Inspired by Music". Entrants are invited to be inspired and interpret this theme however they wish. Music is perhaps the oldest of humanity's creative endeavours. It is both an art form as well as a type of communication. The world over music is a source of entertainment, celebration, worship and expression. The diversity of music reflects the soul of the world and binds us all. We all experience music at emotional and cultural levels. It offers us our finest moments and records our trials and our joys. This is the power that we hope you can capture.
