David Lanchashire and KW Doggett Fine Paper Combine for Recycled Stock

K.W.Doggett Fine Paper has released a paper promotion designed to encourage their clients to take a fresh look at Envirocare 100% Recycled. The new handy A5 piece encourages the audience to value the paper for its warm natural whiteness, earthy tactility and individual finish. The combination of illustrations and quirky quotes conveys a poetic story about the benefits trees provide human life and the environment.

AGDA Member David Lancashire Design collaborated with K.W.Doggett Fine Paper to create a promotion that is both fun and showcases the stock.

Envirocare 100% Recycled is a combination of environmental pedigree, natural qualities, and affordable pricing. The promotion is fundamentally a celebration of trees, one of our greatest natural resources. The engaging copy honours trees for creating shelter, shade, fuel, food and of course paper, a great medium for communication.

According to David Lancashire, choosing illustration over stock photos was an important feature of this promotion, and each quote was chosen with the philosophy of the illustrator in mind. "We live in an overimaged world. Communicating via illustrations is very important and I think beautiful images make you feel good. I wanted to have fun with the quotes. I think that if you can make people smile it starts a form of communication. For me, the cover is a highlight. The die cut creates excitement and the green is fresh and inviting," said Mr Lancashire.

The illustrators featured include Sara Fanelli (Italy), Peter Till (UK), Jeff Fisher (Aus/France), George Hardie (UK) and David Lancashire (Aus). The promotion consists of a die cut folder (250gsm), five cards (300gsm), small booklet (135gsm), and a pre-cut label.
