AGDA Biennial Awards Showcases In New York
30th November, 2010
By invitation of AIGA (American institute of Graphic Arts), AGDA is showcasing award winning work from its recent 10th AGDA National Biennial Awards at the AIGA National Design Center on Fifth Avenue in New York.
It is running alongside the AIGA signature 50 Books/50 Covers annual exhibition till 25th February 2011.
"We're proud to be invited for a return visit of the AGDA Awards after its inaugural and successful showing there in 2008." says Brenton Murray, AGDA National President.
"The AGDA National Biennial Awards is Australia's proud barometer for creative excellence, established since 1992 to honour design innovation, culture and business. This exhibition represents the cream of Australian design produced between 2008 and 2010 and has been made possible through the support of AGDA's sponsors and partners, in particular our Premium partners Artisan Recruitment and Autodesk."
Selected from more than 2,000 entries by a distinguished panel of judges, the display provides a definitive snapshot of works from 'down under', with eight entries achieving AGDA's highest accolade, the Pinnacle.
Categories include corporate identity, publications, digital media, packaging, environmental design, self-promotion, as well as the ultimate honour roll - the AGDA/Spicers Paper/Paperpoint Hall of Fame.
The showcase also acknowledges the generous support of AGDA Premium Partners - Artisan Recruitment and Autodesk, as well as Gold Sponsors Finsbury Green, Raleigh Paper, Australian Paper, Digital Ink, Finn Roache Lawyers, The Letter D, TafeSA and Silver Sponsors Dalton, KW Doggett, Left Right & Centre
