Free Colour Palette Tool For Designers
27th August, 2010
Palettes is a handy tool for designers with an iPad, iPhone or iTouch.
It allows users to create and maintain colour palettes anywhere and anytime and allows you to source from photographs, websites, CSS and third-party palette files, as well as to create them from scratch from any one of the 5 available colour models.
Another useful feature is that it supports import and export for Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Fireworks, GIMP, Paintshop Pro and OS X Color Chooser and can be backed up to a computer or exchanged via email.
The app simplifies the process of finding matching colors and supports a range of color lists, such as SVG, Web Safe, HTML, Java and Apple. Sliders are provided to define colors using RGB, HSV (HSB), HSL, CMYK or Grayscale values.
Palettes comes in a Free version which can be later upgraded to Basic and Pro versions.
