Are You Running a Successful Design Business

The AGDA Industry Survey will collate data into an invaluable report for the business owner, the freelancer and solo designer, as well as the employee.

For business owners, some preparation of information is required to get the best out of the survey - important revenue (design, artwork, production, commissions) and expenditure (salaries, rent, car, utilities, telco,materials, suppliers) data that can be reasonably sourced from your accountant of your last tax returns.

More than 400 responses have been received and we need more to ensure we have a comprehensive and definitive reference for you to benchmark.

New Financial Reporting Templates

As AGDA the organisation becomes more streamlined in its operations, national and state councils will reap the benefits of newly designed financial planning and reporting templates.

These will dovetail well with the regular profit & loss and BAS reports that are part and parcel of the responsibilities and protocols of improved financial governance and accountability.

Australian Innovation Festival

This year's Australian Innovation Festival (26 April to 30 May 2010) will be held in each State and Territory, with over 400,000 participants expected to attend the 500 plus events.

AGDA has been a long term supporter of the Festival, which showcases the importance of innovation in Australia's economic, social and cultural environments and creates a culture of innovation for the benefit of all Australians.
