The prestigious 10th AGDA National Biennial Awards ceremony will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Events Centre on the 16th of October 2010.

Since modeling its adjudication process on the Olympic system from its inception in 1992, and attracting ever increasing entries to more than 2,800 entries in 2008, the AGDA Awards has indeed come of age, recognised by the graphic design community as Australia's premier design awards program.

Call for entries will be posted in April, with the deadline for entries submission due on Friday 2nd July 2010.

Time to start preparing those entries for the professional categories and the student categories!

School's In for the 2010 AGDA Student Brief

Accredited Australian Universities, Colleges and Schools conducting design courses are asked to leave room in this year's curriculum for The AGDA Student Brief.

Works juried and selected from the submissions will form an exhibition, which will be launched as part of the Icograda Design Week Brisbane celebrations in October this year.

The formulated brief will be disseminated to AGDA student members, academic supervisors and their students in March.

AGDA Hosts International Design Conference

As part of Optimism: Icograda Design Week Brisbane, AGDA will host the 2-day International Design Conference program on Thursday 14 October and Friday 15th October 2010.

An exciting list of international and national speakers will be announced progressively from March.

Pencil in these dates together with Saturday 16th October – in fact, set that whole week aside!
