
2010 Adobe Design Achievement Awards Call For Entries and Jury Announcement

The Adobe® Design Achievement Awards (ADAA) celebrate their 10 anniversary in 2010. This premiere design competition honours the best students in design, film, interactive, and development programs at accredited higher education institutions worldwide. The Call for Entries opened on 30 November 2009 and submissions are currently being accepted.
Students may enter work in three categories:
> Interactive Media categories include Browser-Based Design, Non-Browser Based Design, Application Development, Installation Design and Mobile Design.
> Motion Media categories include Animation, Live Action and Motion Graphics.
> Traditional Media categories include Illustration, Packaging, Photography, and Print Communications.
Students are encouraged to submit projects created for their courses throughout the 2009-2010 scholastic year and may submit projects in more than one category. Refer to the competition rules for details.
Entries must be submitted through the Adobe Design Achievement Awards website: http://adaa.adobe.com/
The deadline for entries is 4 June 2010 at 17:00 Pacific time.
The 2010 ADAA awards ceremony will be held during the 2010 Adobe MAX conference in Los Angeles, CA in October 2010.
Finalists in each category will receive complimentary round-trip airfare to Los Angeles, two nights shared accommodations and software. Winners will receive additional cash prizes. For complete information on prizes please visit the Adobe Design Achievement website.
The jury members have been announced for the 2010 Adobe® Design Achievement Awards (ADAA). For the second year, Icograda is partnering with Adobe to manage and present this international award scheme. An independent panel of seven outstanding designers and educators have been selected from the Icograda network.
