Regular updates on design news and activities of the national council and executive office

New National Council

Congratulations to the following office bearers and councillors of the 2009-2010 AGDA National Council:

President – Brenton Murray

Vice President – Paul van Barneveld

Treasurer – Paul Dennis

Secretary – Vito Tassone

Councillors - Georgina Carberry, Sander Egging, Alex Ritchie, Adam Burns, Tanja Hall. Cherise Conrick, Kate Owen, Nathanael Jeanneret, Jim Antonopolous, Brendan Hibbert.

Two councilors are nominated from each state chapter to serve on the national board for a one-year term, with the exception of the national president who is elected for two years. They meet monthly with the Executive Director to envision and drive AGDA's organisational strategies and programs.

Welcome to Autodesk

AGDA is proud to welcome Autodesk as one of two Premium Partners for 2009-2010.

Autodesk is the major supporter of AGDA’s most recent International Speaker Tour by Barbara Glauber – “Turnout was excellent… and our message got to around 500 graphic designers; I’ve been impressed so far working with AGDA,”  said Paul Hellyer, Business Development Manager.

We look forward to working more closely with Autodesk on how their superior technology can resonate even better with our members.

AGDA Strategy Planning

Strategy Planning workshops conducted by national council in September will culminate in a refined business plan as well as portfolio definitions and goals to be undertaken by each councillor at this month’s national council meeting.

Exciting developments are underway for improved national policies and state chapter operations.

Member Satisfaction Survey

The online survey conducted over a period of 5 weeks has been completed and is awaiting webmaster input for reports to be processed. Recommended actions will ensue from these results.
