State Annual General Meetings - Dates Announced

Shortly, AGDA State Chapter Councils throughout Australia will host their respective Annual General Meetings (AGM).

The key agenda item will be Council elections. Council Nomination Forms have recently been posted and for members who wish to participate in a more direct way in the success of AGDA, now is the ideal opportunity to raise your hand.

While many may see the AGM as a formality, it really is an opportunity for members to give honest feedback in an open forum. As a member, it is your chance to participate in the decision-making process of your AGDA council and have a say in the direction they take for the year ahead.

If you can't be there on the day, you can still be involved by returning your Proxy Form (posted along with the Council Nomination Forms).

For AGDA to truly be the voice of our industry, it is essential that our members are actively involved in how we operate. Joining your local council is one way for you to make a difference in your industry, and being part of the process is also important—the AGM is your chance to have some input into what we do, whether by discussion, running for election, voting in person or by proxy.
