What are the create:awards?
create: is a design industry event specifically set up to recognise and reward creative professionals for their work within the highly competitive creative industry. When you enter create: you not only get the chance to pit your imagination and expertise against the best in the creative business, but you can also win a stack of cash and you get a wickedly heavy create: trophy that you can sit on your desk forever to shout out to anyone nearby how brilliant you are.

Now in it's fifth year the Desktop create:awards have not only spent the past half decade showcasing the best in Australian design from a broad range of industry fields including illustration, photography, website design, animation, print, multimedia, packaging and emerging talent, but we've had a lot of fun as well.

2009 will take create: to a whole new level by introducing the first ever Desktop design expo to be held in conjunction with the awards event, transforming create: into a huge industry celebration designed to bring together everyone from designers and creatives through to freelance design warriors and advertising agencies, printers and paper merchants, marketing managers and software and hardware developers.

Fill in the online form and then send your entry in before 5pm, June 15. You can submit as many projects as you like and entry is free.
