
Top 100 Global Brands 2012

Interbrand has released it's 2012 Best Global Brand Report, a report listing the top 100 brands from around the world.
The list is complied annually by Interbrand is a reflection on the world’s 100 most-valued brands. Interbrand Australia CEO Damian Borchok, says “brand innovation” is crucial to remaining competitive. “For the best brands this has meant innovating business models, the way they use technology to capture customer value, engage and deploy employees or create unique customer experiences. These may be difficult times, but they are also exciting ones for businesses with vision and ambition for their brands.”
Coca-Cola has taken out the #1 spot for the thirteenth year running, followed closely by Apple which was up 129% from last year, jumping from spot #8 to #2. Followed by technology heavy weights IBM, Google and Microsoft. Facebook has also been added to the list for the first time.
