The AGDA 2012 Terms and Conditions Template
24th August, 2012
The AGDA 2012 Terms and Conditions Template is a comprehensive and timely set of general guidelines professional designer may wish to consider using or developing upon further to ensure they are protecting themselves and their clients from the 'the beast of ambiguity'.
Also known as Contracts and Standard Agreements, David Stewart from WRAYS has prepared this template especially for AGDA members. David is a partner in the patent and trade mark practice and a practitioner-director of the law firm. Dave’s highest profile case in Australia was in successfully attacking a trade mark relating to ugg boots, the subject of a popular TV documentary called “The Good, the Bad and the Ugg Boot”. Dave has specialist expertise in IP issues for the mining, defence, and pharmaceutical industries and supervises a team of eight legal staff, all practicing intellectual property law
This first in a series of newly updated practice notes aims to provide AGDA members with a template client contract – a first port of call when making sure you have something in writing between you and your clients.
