Sneak Peek of the Judging Process for the Australian Design Biennale
27th August, 2012
A sneak peak of judging process in Adelaide over the weekend, was popped up on the Biennale's Facebook page. Please like our page so we can keep you in touch.
The award results are being crunched and cross checked in the coming weeks and the Judges are under wraps for now. However we wanted to give you a sense of the enormous task that is carefully in hand, just as it has been for the last twenty years.
Over two days our judges silently filed past just under 1,700 pieces of design; rooms and rooms of work was carefully displayed, assessed, checked and packed by Rita, Brenton, Anth and crew.
In the coming weeks we are putting all of the entries online. This task will represent Australia's latest body of recent work, ever published.
The AGDA Award and Pinnacle Award winners will be made public on the night of the awards - 24 November 2012.
A big thanks to Rita, Brenton, Anth and the volunteer crew, who's job is far from over.
We are excited to announce that an exhibition of Max Robinson's work will be launched over the Awards weekend, along with our 20 years of Pinnacles at Platform gallery and Friday's beer o clock.
