Diet Coke Releases New Fashion Cans

20th January, 2012

Diet Coke has collaborated with American make-up brand Benefit Cosmetics to release a limited edition can collection in the UK and across Europe.

The marketing campaign—that includes new can designs, a Facebook app ‘Get Glam’, and make-up videos—is aimed at females, to help Coca-Cola target their audience through fashion and beauty.

The three new Diet Coke can designs feature floral prints, zebra prints, and houndstooth prints on silhouettes of female face profiles—to celebrate “three of the season’s hottest fashion and beauty looks”, the ‘rock chick’, ‘fashionista’ and ‘romantic’, according to Benefit’s website.

Every Diet Coke pack gives shoppers a voucher of 5 British pound, when they spend 20 British pounds or more online at Benefit.

‘Get Glam’ also includes fashion and beauty tips, a video chat tool, and make-up videos of the three women with different styles (‘rock chick’, ‘fashionista’, and ‘romantic’) and tips on how to achieve their looks by using Benefit products.
