Conversations with Designers: Domenico Bartolo

20th December, 2011

In this episode of CwD, Dom Bartolo discusses the processes that underpin the success of his design and communications agency, 21–19.

The film takes us through Dom’s belief in the importance of open and honest early dialogue with a client, the value of research and think time, and shows a project’s evolution from moodboards, sketches and wireframes, to its delightful denouement.

The full transcript of the interview is as usual, posted for download alongside the film on the AGDA website and is well worth a read for the many additional insights it provides.

We thank Dom for his time and generosity in contributing to this important archive of Australian design thinkers.

Liana Lucca-Pope,

AGDA VIC Vice President
and CwD Director/Producer
