The Value of AGDA - Testimonial from Stephen Castledine

This week Stephen Castledine of Castledine & Castledine shares his position on the value of AGDA membership:

I've been a member of AGDA since it started and the relationships I have forged in the design world would never have been possible without the resources of a national association.

As a Perth based designer, the prospect of attracting (let alone paying for!) visiting international designers is limited by our isolation. I've been privileged over the years to meet and share a meal with the likes of Stefan Sagmeister, Chip Kidd, George Hardie, Vince Frost and Paul Barnes, to name just a few. My design experience has been enhanced by exposure to their work and more importantly by the way they go about working.

Next year I will be travelling to New York and part of my plans will include reconnecting with some of the great designers I have met over the years - all thanks to AGDA!
