Conversations with Designers: Max Robinson
30th August, 2011
AGDA is proud to reveal the latest film in the Conversations with Designers series. Max Robinson, a charming and generous man with a deep affection for the culture of design, has contributed substantially to its depth and texture over his multi decade career. Apart from his own body of work, Max writes significantly about other designers and was inducted into the AGDA Hall of Fame himself in 2010. He recently presented at the State of Design Festival in tandem with his work featuring in MIFF 60: The Graphic Art of The Melbourne International Film Festival.
The film is a five minute snapshot of an hour long conversation recorded in late 2010 and gives insight into how this passionate design practitioner thinks, approaches his craft (and his clients). The full transcript of the interview is posted for download alongside the film on the AGDA website.
The CwD series can also be seen on Youtube and Vimeo. Our next two films are currently in production and feature Domenico Bartolo from 21-19 and Fiona Sweet from Sweet Creative. They'll be released this year and we can't wait! Our sincere thanks as always go to Neil McClure at McClure Multimedia.
We give you, Max Robinson. Enjoy.
