
UCDA Design Education Summit - Call for Papers, Posters, and Panel Discussions

Since 1970, the University & College Designers Association (UCDA) has created a community where visual communicators in education have turned for support, camaraderie, inspiration, and resources. Our membership of designers, design educators, writers, editors, photographers, and creatives of all types across many disciplines remains a strong force in promoting excellence in visual design, especially in the field of education.
Call for Papers, Posters, and Panel Discussions
Design educators and graduate students - you are invited and encouraged to participate in the sixth annual National UCDA Design Education Summit.
Proposals regarding the conference theme Designing Designing: examining how UCDA do what UCDA do are especially welcome. However, we will also welcome proposals concerning other design education topics.
Entry deadline for proposals is March 3, 2010.
This national conference for design educators, chairs, and students will be hosted by the University of Kansas, and will include general session speakers, panel discussions, and paper and poster presentations selected from abstracts submitted through a peer-reviewed process. in Lawrence, Kansas June 2-4, 2010.
This conference is open to UCDA members and non-members, design educators and practitioners, and students.
