Nothing distasteful here: we're not talking about body parts or fleeting moments, but acquiring the art of presenting yourself as a professional designer. Your work and credentials. Your skills. Your ability to take on clients' needs, to understand the communications task, to deliver a quality solution.
Like all forms of communication it's been done before, so picking up proven 'dos and don'ts' will provide a base on which to build your own unique style. It's a night of inside tips from a successful practitioner, with maybe a few hairy anecdotes.
Richard Henderson
Richard Henderson's creative vision has been instrumental in the evolution of FHA from a local design studio into one of Australia's leading brand image companies with international credentials. In 2001 FHA was acquired by FutureBrand, a global brand consultancy. In 2003, Richard established R-Co, specialising in brand image.
Richard has been the leader of many competitive presentations and design submissions, winning projects such as Telstra, Crown, Ansett Australia, Orica, National Bank, BHP Billiton, Royal Australian Navy, Sydney 2000 Olympic Games and Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games brand identities.
Richard will give his insights into what he thinks makes a compelling presentation. He is in the moment and knows what it's like to be a gladiator.
