Icograda Endorses International Graphic Design Education Forum, Beijing
The 2002 International Graphic Design Education Forum (IGDEF) has received Icograda's endorsement.* Organised by Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA), the forum will bring together design educators, students and professionals from around the world to bridge the gaps between design education and professional practice. Participants will address the state of global design education, share work experiences and exchange ideas to better prepare students for the design industry. The event is part of CAFA's design festival and will be held 16-18 October 2002 in Beijing (China).

Icograda website has been hit more than five million times since its launch in April 2000. You can take advantage of it to exhibit your work all around the wolrld!
Members in good standing of Icograda member associations are invited to submit a digital sample of their work to Icograda's Galeria, a weekly exhibit of inspiring design from the Icograda global community. To submit your work, look at samples of the current Galeria exhibit at http://www.icograda.org, review the submission criteria, then follow the online submission instructions or e-mail to Iva Babaja at <ibabaja@icograda.org>. Share your inspirational design with your designer colleagues from around the world!

The Hong Kong Design Centre proudly presents Hong Kong's first time ever multi-disciplinary international conference on design. This spectacular 4-day event comprises seminars, exhibitions, design award presentations, fashion shows and workshops. It is an exciting and rewarding time for the design professionals, innovators, entrepreneurs, and the community to get together to create prosperity through their unique skills and talents.
The overall title "Business of Design Week", combines the concepts of innovation, creative technology, value added ventures and global design.
