A great article in Fortune magazine entitled, "The e-consultants" which
talks about various advertising agencies, design studios and other forms of
webhead making waves building e-commerce solutions, ie. fullblown websites
with sales capabilities and linkages back into the client's IT systems.
A couple of years ago, web pages were just, well, web pages. Now they are
much, much more, and also WORTH much much more. The players are growing
fast, and the numbers are huge - one forecast for these services in the US
is around US$50bn.
If you're doing websites for clients, you could do worse than chase these
guys - in fact people like Spike and Zivo already are.
